High Pressure Diamonds is a 6-week creative summer programme, where you will get the opportunity to explore key aspects of self-employment and starting your own business. You will be able to learn new skills, such as: business planning, persuasive pitch decks, empathy, growth mindset and resilience.

Guest speaker Ntando Brown, creative director of Out Since Tuesday, will also deliver a session on the creative industries and how he built his black-owned creative and production agency. By the end of the programme, you will have a clear understanding self-employment and entrepreneurship within the creative the industry!

Orange Bow’s Media Traineeship is a 4-week programme, where you get the chance to achieve an NCFE-accredited qualification in either Digital Skills/Digital Promotions/Employability Skills/Business Admin up to Level 2, in line with your aspirations and skill levels.

Experience Orange Bow’s in-house podcast studio where you will be provided with on-site media production work experience with input from external industry professionals such as Janine Kempadoo, former Commissioning Executive at BBC Radio 1Xtra. Participants will work together to research topics to create digital content and podcasts relevant to their lives such as Black History, Wellbeing, Money Matters and interviews with relevant role models.

Football Development & Resilience is a 4-week programme, which has a focus on not you only becoming a professional footballer, but more importantly life off the pitch.

This summer programme will use football as the key element to provide fitness and technique training but also expose you to the wide array of roles within the industry i.e., Sports Lawyer, Coach, Nutritionist and Sports Agent etc. This will be coupled with personalised employment readiness and general well-being support to increase your ability to successfully enter and remain in the sport industry.

Minds and Melodies is a 6-week programme, which helps you develop your fundamental skills by using music and straightforward practical techniques from the industry. Each participant will create a career plan and work towards a Silver Arts Award to pursue opportunities that adequately meet their needs while also fostering their artistic abilities and moving closer to a recognised music qualification.

The programme aims to provide practical exposure and first-hand insights into the music industry through work experience, placements, and trips, allowing you to make informed decisions about your future career path while expanding your networks and industry knowledge.

Step into Youth Work is a 4-week programme to upskill the next generation of youth workers! The training will cover the principles of Youth Work and provide an understanding of youth work’s impact on society.

You will also learn about activity planning, facilitation, and evaluation, as well as mentoring as a tool to build healthy relationships with young people. At the end of the course, you will gain a Level 3 Award Youth Work Training (accredited by CPD), as well as visit prominent youth organisations to experience different types of youth work and the varied ways youth work can be practised.
